Debra Sharpe, president of BioSafety Solutions LLC, is highly regarded for her achievements in developing cutting-edge compliance strategies, safety programs and products that have been overwhelmingly accepted by the regulatory community. Over the past 20 years, Ms. Sharpe has brought academic, private sector, and not-for-profit organizations into compliance with WHO, OSHA, EPA, USDA/CDC, NFPA and NIH regulations and guidelines.
For the past 12 years, she has managed corporate EHS, biosafety and biosecurity programs. She has led the infectious disease contract research group at Southern Research Institute and currently manages the BSL-3 operation. As a result, she understands the needs of the regulator, the scientist and the research.
